Índice FTSE 100

El índice Financial Times Stock Exchange 100 , también llamado índice FTSE 100 , FTSE 100 , FTSE o , informalmente, « Footsie » / ˈfʊtsi / , es el índice bursátil más conocido del Reino Unido de las 100 empresas de mayor capitalización que cotizan en la Bolsa de Valores de Londres . [1]

Ponderación

En los índices FTSE, los precios de las acciones se ponderan en función de la capitalización de capital flotante, de modo que las empresas más grandes, con una mayor proporción de sus acciones "flotantes", tienen una mayor influencia en el índice que las empresas más pequeñas. El factor de ajuste de capital flotante representa el porcentaje de todas las acciones emitidas que están disponibles para su negociación, redondeado al múltiplo más cercano del 5%. La capitalización de capital flotante de una empresa es su capitalización de mercado multiplicada por su factor de ajuste de capital flotante. 30 pies

El índice continuo más antiguo del Reino Unido es el FT 30, también conocido como Financial Times Index o FT Ordinary Index (FTOI).
