Agradezco tu continuo y arduo trabajo.

Hello, NYCJosh. Voting in the 2017 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 10 December. All users who registered an account before Saturday, 28 October 2017, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Wednesday, 1 November 2017 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2017 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 3 December 2017 (UTC)

You violated discretionary sanctions. If you don't self revert, you might be blocked. As I and others pointed out, you're entry is undue and not neutral. You can't just restore.Sir Joseph (talk) 04:59, 12 February 2018 (UTC)
Please carefully read this information:
The Arbitration Committee has authorised discretionary sanctions to be used for pages regarding the Arab–Israeli conflict, a topic which you have edited. The Committee's decision is here.
Discretionary sanctions is a system of conduct regulation designed to minimize disruption to controversial topics. This means uninvolved administrators can impose sanctions for edits relating to the topic that do not adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, our standards of behavior, or relevant policies. Administrators may impose sanctions such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks. This message is to notify you that sanctions are authorised for the topic you are editing. Before continuing to edit this topic, please familiarise yourself with the discretionary sanctions system. Don't hesitate to contact me or another editor if you have any questions.Icewhiz (talk) 06:57, 12 February 2018 (UTC)

Per third bullet of ARBPIA, if an edit is reverted by another editor, its original author may not restore it within 24 hours of the first revert made to their edit.
This was your first edit where you changed "right-wing sympathizer" for "Israeli terrorist", therefore you created that new content. You were supposed to wait at least 24 hours after my revert before reinserting your disputed content. But a mere 45 minutes later you restored it anyway. Revert yourself or I'll report you to AE. Thanks.--יניב הורון (talk) 17:01, 10 May 2018 (UTC)

Human rights in Israel is under ARBPIA restriction, whether you like it or not. This fact is not based on my personal interpretation. If you revert a second time in less than 24 hours (or restore disputed content added by yourself in less than 24 hours before the last revert), I'll report you to AE without further warning. Be careful.--יניב הורון (talk) 09:09, 29 May 2018 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Marisol Alcantara, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Hi there, just a note about how you can read about the ways to format references/citations. If you don't know how or don't want to, you can leave the bare URL, which makes it easier for other editors to fix. JesseRafe (talk) 12:52, 6 September 2018 (UTC)

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.
You have shown interest in the Arab–Israeli conflict. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.
For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Hi. I see in a recent addition to Cambodian genocide you included material copied from Year Zero: The Silent Death of Cambodia. That's okay, but you have to give attribution so that our readers are made aware that you copied the prose rather than wrote it yourself. I've added the attribution for this particular instance. Please make sure that you follow this licensing requirement when copying within Wikipedia in the future. If you are the sole author of the prose that was copied, attribution is not required. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 16:13, 15 July 2019 (UTC)

Hello! Thanks for your edit to global warming. In addition to it, in my opinion, not being sufficiently global / long term, I also noticed you're not sticking to the citation standards of the global warming page. Having uniform citations is one of the requirements for FA status. For future edits, please stick to those or ask for help on the talk page. Femke Nijsse (talk) 16:20, 20 September 2019 (UTC)
Hello NYCJosh! I have taken the liberty of adding the {{reflist-talk}} template at two places in your Talk page to catch those pesky "references" (created with the <ref>...</ref>
tags) that kept showing up at the bottom of the page. "<ref>" tags can be troublesome — and if you look at this text in edit mode you'll see that I actually type "<ref>". By the way, that top-most comment GPRamirez5 added in 2018 is misplaced, and you should not feel shy about moving it, or even deleting it. Also, you might consider archiving most of what you have collected here. Ask if you need help.
Regarding your recent edit at Talk:Global warming: yes, deleting it was wise. You may have noticed that some of the prior text on that page seemed to have disappeared. That was another <ref> problem. Not entirely your fault, but it does show why we need to be careful about not introducing straight "<ref>" into the text. More particularly, when we discuss edits we generally do not copy the actual text into the talk page, we use a "diff" to link to the edit. E.g., for your edit you could use "{{diff2|916780735|my edit}}
" (replacing "my edit" with what ever is suitable). Note also that new discussions are generally started by hitting the "New section" tab at the top of the page.
By all means ask on the Talk page if you have a question about your edit being reverted. (Just don't bring in the actual text!) But please note that just because something is related to a topic is not sufficient basis for inclusion. In this case I would say that the responses to global warming, across many aspects, are not part of global warming itself, and therefore should be, if sufficiently notable, handled in their own articles. ♦ J. Johnson (JJ) (talk) 00:21, 22 September 2019 (UTC)
I'm not sure deleting your own text five times at Talk:Global warming was "wise", per J. Johnson above. Please use edit summaries to show why you're doing all the additions/removals of your own text, because I find it quite difficult to understand. This diff which combines eight of your back and forth edits into one, shows that the result of them all is No difference. And a little later, you did this, also giving no difference. Your edits seem to be merely bloating up the page history. Bishonen | talk 12:19, 22 September 2019 (UTC).

Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.. Hi Josh,
My name is Sophie and I am very new to being a Wikipedia user - editing and writing articles. I am contacting you because I saw that you had made changes to the plastic pollution Wikipedia page. I was hoping I could get your help to create a new page for the company I work for, we are developing technology for biodegradable plastic solutions (not oxo-degradation). As I am currently working at Polymateria, I am unable to create the company Wikipedia page and was hoping you could help me.
If you are happy to help me I can send you the text that I would like to have on the page, external sources included.
Again, as said I am very new to this side of Wikipedia so please do let me know if there is another way I should be trying to make these changes.
Thank you and hope to speak soon, SophieSophieStromback (talk) 17:26, 20 November 2020 (UTC)

Hello! Voting in the 2022 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 12 December 2022. All eligible users are allowed to vote.
If you wish to participate in the 2022 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}}
