El Wakarusa Music and Camping Festival fue un festival de música de cuatro días que se celebró anualmente a principios de junio desde 2004 hasta 2015 en Mulberry Mountain [1] cerca de Ozark, Arkansas . El 17 de diciembre de 2015, el organizador del festival, Pipeline Productions, anunció a través de una publicación en Facebook que el evento no se llevaría a cabo en 2016 debido a disputas financieras y legales con sus socios. Pipeline Productions había cancelado recientemente otros dos eventos en Mulberry Mountain, "Thunder on the Mountain" y "Phases of the Moon", debido a disputas similares. Un festival rival, Highberry, se mudó rápidamente al lugar. [3] [4]
