Esta es una lista de los tiroteos masivos más notables en los Estados Unidos que han ocurrido desde 1900. Los tiroteos masivos son incidentes que involucran a varias víctimas de violencia relacionada con armas de fuego. Los criterios de inclusión precisos son controvertidos y no existe una definición ampliamente aceptada. El Gun Violence Archive , un grupo de investigación sin fines de lucro que rastrea los tiroteos y sus características en los Estados Unidos, define un tiroteo masivo como un incidente en el que cuatro o más personas, excluyendo al perpetrador(es), reciben disparos en un lugar aproximadamente al mismo tiempo, [3] y el FBI tiene un mínimo de tres. El Servicio de Investigación del Congreso limita aún más esa definición, considerando solo lo que define como "tiroteos masivos públicos" y solo considerando a las víctimas como aquellas que mueren, excluyendo a las víctimas que sobreviven.
