Groves in 1957
... that Walter A. Groves (pictured) taught his first class at Centre College the morning after arriving at the school for the first time? Source: Groves interview (1983), part 1, page 3: "So a week after we landed in New York, we landed in Danville, Kentucky. I think it was about October 1, 1940, and we were put up by Dr. and Mrs. McLeod in their home. This was a Sunday evening, and on Monday morning at eight o'clock he had me in my first class here. So that began my career at Centre."

- New enough, easily long enough, and well sourced. QPQ done. Earwig found no copying that I consider significant. ALT0 is not interesting, but ALT1 is. Consider rewording this long sentence or possibly splitting.

- 18: Austin College biography of Guerrant (as that's where he once was president) indicates he was an English major at Centre. Y
