The 25th annual Berlin International Film Festival was held from 27 June – 8 July 1975.^[1]

The Golden Bear was awarded to Adoption directed by Márta Mészáros.^[2] The retrospective dedicated to Greta Garbo was shown at the festival.^[3]

• João Carlos Martins, Brazilian pianist and conductor
• Sukhdev Sandhu, Indian filmmaker
