Geologic formation in Chubut Province, Argentina
La Formación Sarmiento ( en español : Formación Sarmiento ), en la literatura más antigua descrita como Formación Casamayor , es una formación geológica en la provincia de Chubut , Argentina , en la Patagonia central , que abarca alrededor de 30 millones de años desde mediados del Eoceno hasta principios del Mioceno .
