Tesoro Nacional (Corea del Sur)

Tesoro Nacional ( en coreano국보 ) es una designación a nivel nacional dentro del sistema de preservación del patrimonio de Corea del Sur para objetos tangibles de valor artístico, cultural e histórico significativo. Historia

La primera lista de tesoros culturales coreanos fue designada por el Gobernador General de Corea en 1938 durante la ocupación japonesa con la "Ley de Tesoros de la Dinastía Joseon". [3]

En 1955, el gobierno de Corea del Sur declaró como Tesoros Nacionales los objetos que figuraban previamente en la Orden de Preservación de los Tesoros de Corea emitida durante la ocupación japonesa de Corea. La lista actual data del 20 de diciembre de 1962, cuando el Consejo Supremo para la Reconstrucción Nacional promulgó la Ley de Protección Cultural .
