New Zealand cricket team in Bangladesh in 2013–14

The New Zealand national cricket team toured Bangladesh from 4 October to 6 November 2013.^[1] The tour consisted of two Test matches, three One Day Internationals and one Twenty20 International match.

Test series

1st Test

• New Zealand won the toss and elected to bat.
• Marshall Ayub (Ban), Corey Anderson and Ish Sodhi (NZ) made their Test debuts.
• Sohag Gazi (Ban) became the first cricketer to claim a hat-trick and century in the same match.^[2][3]
• 27 sixes were hit in the match, tied with the all-time record (now 4th)^[4] for most sixes hit in a Test.

2nd Test

• Bangladesh won the toss and elected to bat
• Al-Amin Hossain (Ban) made his Test debut.

ODI series

1st ODI

• New Zealand won the toss and elected to field.
• Rain halted New Zealand's innings at 82/3 after (20 overs). Revised target is 206 off 33 overs.
• Rubel Hossain (Ban) took a hat-trick.

2nd ODI

• Bangladesh won the toss and elected to bat
• Shamsur Rahman (Ban) made his debut.

3rd ODI

• Bangladesh won the toss and elected to field

Twenty20 International series

Only T20I

• New Zealand won the toss and elected to bat
• Al-Amin Hossain (Ban) and Anton Devcich (NZ) both made their debut
