IMDB is saying Kathleen Barr voiced Dot Matrix in ReBoot, not Soucie. Who is right? - Bloodshedder 04:00, 28 September 2005 (UTC)
I'm thinking this article is too jumbled, and that rather than randomly mentioning the roles she has portrayed, we simply list them in alphabetical order? They're certainly mentioned out of any memory of mine. Tyciol 12:35, 20 July 2006 (UTC)
This article states that Shin-Chan has not aired in USA. Does this refer to the specific UK version, or an American version (which has shown briefly.)? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.217.217.215 (talk • contribs) 03:30, 30 September 2006
it says she plays dusty a male character on futurama. I believe she plays Hubert The Cloned boy of the old professor — Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.26.131.217 (talk • contribs) 19:46, 6 June 2007
She is easily best known as Phil and Lil from Rugrats, come on, the show lasted what, ten+ years and had a few movies, how would a character on a show that nobody but sonic fans remembers be remembered more than Phil and Lil? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.29.155.240 (talk) 12:02, 11 October 2007 (UTC)
This page reads like a resume. I wonder how much of it she wrote herself... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.73.1.37 (talk) 08:52, 3 March 2010 (UTC)
So I was watching this commercial (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O30bXECD36I&feature=player_embedded), and I noticed the doll's voice sounded JUST like Soucie, specifically, Lil DeVille. And knowing how prolific she is I wouldn't be surprised if it WAS her. But I can't get this clarified, as mere commercials don't credit all the people that were in them. Can someone help? Thanks! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.175.116.65 (talk) 17:12, 27 March 2010 (UTC)
Just because someone has the same name living in the same area, with 17 million other people, does not mean that they are the same person. All the sources I could find indicated that this Kath Soucie was born in 1967. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Nutster (talk • contribs) 05:13, 27 June 2011 (UTC)
It's more possible for her to have been born in 1954 than in 1967, having seen The Incredible Journey of Doctor Laurel which was filmed in 1979, there she is over 18 years old. Most likely someone wrote 1967 as her DOB in WIkipedia and from then on all the other Internet websites wrote it down too. However Intelius, has a Kath E. Soucie is 57 living in California, and no Kath E. Soucie who are 44. Intelius is a reliable source if you ever saw one and it cannot be influenced by Wikipedia. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.124.57.4 (talk) 14:53, 27 June 2011 (UTC)
I've removed the birthdate. Contary to the assertion by the IP, Intelius is not a reliable source, and the comment that "it cannot be influenced by Wikipedia" is unintelligible and irrelevant.--Bbb23 (talk) 01:39, 6 January 2012 (UTC)
I'm probably adding fuel to the fire here, but like someone on this page pointed out ten years ago, her only on camera role was in The Incredible Journey Of Doctor Meg Laurel. And that was released on the second day of 1979. Meaning it had to have been filmed in 1978. If Soucie were born in 1967, that would mean she would have been 11 at the time it was filmed. Which really doesn't seem probable. They're many websites quoting her birth year as 1967, but it's only because they're getting it from other websites. Many people seem to rely on google and take the knowledge panel as gospel, but google scrapes info from other sites and doesn't do any fact checking. Lately IMDB has been switching her birth year back and forth between 1953 and 1967. I'm leaning more towards the former. But there's no reliable source anywhere to confirm it. Clustrmaps and Radaris say she was born in 1953. The location stated on these records usually show where the person currently lives and not where they were born. When I test it the records are right most of the time. I think the source is reliable but Wikipedia doesn't allow primary sources and honestly I agree with that because these sources contain phone numbers. I wouldn't go as far as to say these sources are unreliable, like Wikipedia's policies think, as they are generally correct, except sometimes with outdated addresses, but I do agree with the principle of respecting someone's privacy and linking to pages with phone numbers would be doing the complete opposite of that principle. As such, it'd be iffy to put her birthdate here as even though we technically know it we'd be asked for a secondary source, and there aren't really amy secondary sources, there are only really primary sources (public records) available. Sausage Link of High Rule (talk) 21:30, 15 September 2022 (UTC)
Even though Wikipedia doesn't trust primary sources I have found them to be reliable most of the time. The REAL reason we shouldn't have them is for privacy. Sausage Link of High Rule (talk) 21:33, 15 September 2022 (UTC)
This likely won't be considered a reliable source by Wikipedia standards, but I found her high school yearbook. She's listed as a senior in 1971 of Valley Forge High School. She was going by Kathy Soucie at the time. https://www.classmates.com/siteui/yearbooks/172775?page=241
It's definitely her. I rewatched the clip of her in Doctor Meg Laurel and she looked how she did in high school. The school is in Parma Heights which is a suburb of Cleveland(where she was born). And she was part of the drama club in high school. Kcj5062 (talk) 16:16, 2 November 2022 (UTC)
An Instagram post from the Rugrats show greeting a happy birthday to Kath Soucie was dated on January 20, 2023. (It may be January 19 or 20, but since I live in the Philippines, it displays January 20 for me.) RMXY (talk) 11:26, 22 August 2023 (UTC)
Excepting external links, this article only has a single section "Filmography and TV roles" with a table describing her roles. This table has distinct divisions: Film, Television Films, Straight-to-video, Live Action Television, Animated Television, and Video Games. I would like to propose that since the table already has this sectioning that we include it in the table of contents and have separate tables in each section which can be edited independently, rather than a long continuous one.
I'll have a go at doing this but my knowledge of tables isn't the best so if I err anywhere I hope someone can fix it. Ranze (talk) 03:55, 4 July 2012 (UTC)
