1958 Surinamese general election

General elections were held in Suriname on 25 June 1958.^[1] The result was a victory for the National Party of Suriname, which won nine of the 21 seats.

• Van Philips (PSV) became in 1958 minister and was succeeded by Coen Ooft.
• Essed and Ensberg (both NPS) also became minister and were succeeded by André Morgenstond and Olton van Genderen
• Pierau died in 1962
