according to http://www.railwaygazette.com/nc/news/single-view/view/railjet-to-take-off-next-year.html which should be reliable, "Siemens has subcontracted manufacture of the streamlined end of the driving trailers — which will match the design of the Taurus locomotives — to ÖBB Infrastruktur Bau" , but the I haven't found any confirming references, and the company appears to be a infrastructure company. Could this be an error in the article, or not ???
diff The article suggested that it was practice to run two trains together - more details and sources are required for this.Sf5xeplus (talk) 02:37, 21 January 2011 (UTC)
If these trains operate in push-pull sets with a locomotive at each end, then what are the "control cars" ? Is this the normal meaning, a non-powered car with a driving control station in it, or some other meaning ?122.106.205.74 (talk) 05:49, 4 December 2011 (UTC)
Is Eddy current brakes really the same thing as magnetic track brake? According to information from Siemens, the train has magentic track brakes.
