Ownership of articles

Information icon Hello. I wanted to let you know that in your recent contributions, you seemed to act as if you were the owner of a page. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to Wikipedia. This means that editors do not own articles, including ones they create, and should respect the work of their fellow contributors. If you create or edit an article, remember that others are free to change its content. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Conflict-of-interest

Information icon Hello, Hershmaj2017. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for article subjects for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. OhNoitsJamie Talk 21:47, 22 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Biographies of living persons; we do not list names of non-notable relatives per WP:BLPPRIVACY

Information icon Hello, I'm Ohnoitsjamie. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! OhNoitsJamie Talk 21:47, 22 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The reliable source is Philip Michael Thomas. What better reliability is there? Hershmaj2017 (talk) 22:19, 22 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Please read WP:ABOUTSELF; per our verification policy in certain cases, a self-published source is fine (e.g., someone announcing on their Instagram that they got married, etc). It's prefereable to use third-party sources when possible. OhNoitsJamie Talk 23:04, 22 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
