Christian music festivals in 1975.

Description

This map shows locations of Christian music festivals held in the United States and Canada in 1975. Christian music critic Paul Baker writes in his book Why Should The Devil Have All The Good Music? (1980 edition) that "1975 was the year that Jesus festivals sprang up everywhere."[1] 1975 was only five years after the first widely reported Christian music festivals, the Faith Festival and the Ichthus Music Festival. Explo, the largest Christian music festival to date, was held in 1972.

Where the city is unknown, we default to the state capitol.
