University of Taipei

University of Taipei (UT; Chinese: 臺北市立大學; lit. 'Taipei Municipal University') is an institution of higher education in Taipei, Taiwan. Located in Taipei metropolitan area, the university has two campuses, the Tianmu Campus in Shilin District and the Bo'ai Campus in Zhongzheng District. It is the only university under the administration of Taipei City Government.^[2]

Established by the merger of Taipei Municipal University of Education and the Taipei Physical Education College in August 2013, University of Taipei can trace its roots into the late 19th century.^[3]

Prior to the merger, TMUE have 4,800 students enrolled and TPEC 2,700. Today roughly 7,500 students are enrolled in University of Taipei. The university currently consists of five colleges:

Transporte

Se puede llegar al campus principal caminando hacia el oeste desde la estación Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall del metro de Taipei . Se puede llegar al campus Tianmu caminando hacia el este desde la estación Zhishan del metro de Taipei .

Clasificaciones

La Universidad de Taipei no fue clasificada por Times Higher Education , ^[5] y ocupó el puesto 601-650 en QS Asia University Rankings en 2024. ^[6]
