Both schools joined the Summit League in swimming and diving. Both Lindenwood and USI will become full D-I members in 2026–27. But Lindenwood dropped both of its swimming & diving teams after the 2023–24 school year.

  20. ^ The University of St. Thomas, which was expelled from the MIAC at the end of the 2020–21 school year, joined the Summit League starting in the 2021–22 season. St. Thomas has received an NCAA waiver allowing it to move directly from Division III to Division I on a five-year schedule, instead of the four years used for transitions from Division II to Division I, thereby becoming a full D-I member in 2026–27.
