South Korean television music competition program
Immortal Songs: Singing the Legend ( coreano : 불후의 명곡: 전설을 노래하다 ; RR : Bulhu-ui Myeong-gok: Jeonseoreul Noraehada ), también conocido como Immortal Songs 2 ( coreano : 불후의 명곡 2 ), es un surcoreano. Programa de competencia musical televisiva presentado por Shin Dong-yup. [1] Es una reposición de Immortal Songs (2007-2009), y cada episodio presenta cantantes que interpretan sus versiones reinterpretadas de las canciones. [2]
El programa transmite un nuevo episodio todos los sábados en KBS2 y lo vuelve a transmitir con subtítulos en inglés en KBS World una semana después en el mismo período de tiempo.
Sinopsis
Originalmente transmitido como Immortal Songs 2 como parte de KBS Saturday Freedom , cada episodio presentaba a seis cantantes ídolos que interpretarían canciones del cantante del episodio. Después de la reestructuración en 2012, el programa regresó el 7 de abril como un programa independiente y rebautizado como Immortal Songs: Singing the Legend . Cada episodio ahora presenta siete cantantes o grupos de diversos orígenes y años de experiencia, que van desde miembros de grupos ídolos populares de K-pop hasta artistas solistas legendarios. Como antes, cada uno interpreta sus propias versiones reinterpretadas de canciones famosas del legendario cantante del episodio. Una característica destacada del nuevo formato son los "episodios especiales" que giran en torno a temas específicos, como eventos festivos o conmemorativos.
Los cantantes invitados se sientan en una sala de espera con los tres presentadores, donde se presentan a los espectadores. El orden de las actuaciones lo decide al azar el presentador Shin Dong-yup, que saca una bola que contiene el nombre del intérprete, y la audiencia de 500 miembros vota después de cada ronda por su actuación favorita. El intérprete con más votos en el episodio gana. A partir del 15 de febrero de 2020, debido a la pandemia de COVID-19, las votaciones fueron realizadas por 20 jueces especiales (en su mayoría empleados de KBS). Puntuaron al artista, pero la puntuación no se mostró en la pantalla y, en su lugar, se utilizó una luz para indicar al ganador.
A partir del 22 de agosto de 2020, el programa pasó a llamarse Immortal Songs . Moon Hee-joon y Jung Jae-hyung dejaron el programa después de ser parte de él durante 9 y 8 años respectivamente y se anunció que Kim Jun-hyun y Kim Shin-young los reemplazarían. [3] El tercer presentador de la sala de espera del programa, Kim Tae-woo, se fue en junio de 2021 después de 3 años. [4] Fue reemplazado por el cantante de trot Shin Yu en julio de 2021, pero dejó el programa en octubre y fue reemplazado por una serie de presentadores invitados (ver más abajo). Kim Shin-young también dejó el programa en noviembre y Lee Chan-won fue nombrado presentador permanente el 20 de noviembre de 2021.
El 4 de noviembre de 2021, KBS anunció que reabriría sus programas musicales para una audiencia en vivo por primera vez desde enero de 2020, cuando comenzó la pandemia de COVID-19. Immortal Songs comenzó a grabar episodios con una audiencia en vivo reducida a fines de noviembre y el episodio 536 fue el primer episodio en emitirse con una audiencia el 11 de diciembre de 2021, y el sistema de luces permaneció como el método para indicar un ganador. El cuarteto crossover Forestella posee el récord único de más victorias consecutivas en el especial King of Kings en la historia del programa, con 6 victorias en total. [6] También tuvieron 26 partidos consecutivos sin derrotas en su primera ronda de selección.
