se utiliza para agregar un árbol de caracteres relacionados de varias escrituras índicas a artículos sobre letras paníndicas.
Esta plantilla acepta uno de dos parámetros para mostrar un carácter. Los parámetros son el código de cuatro letras ISO 15924 para el script (o un prefijo alternativo para scripts que no se encuentran en ese estándar), seguido de "cp" para especificar el punto de código de texto simple, o "img" para especificar el nombre de archivo de la imagen del carácter. Si se especifican ambos, se mostrará la imagen en lugar de un carácter de texto. Además, el código ISO 15924 + "2cp" o "2img" mostrará un carácter adicional para ese script.
La escritura Brahmi tiene parámetros para especificar archivos de imagen en tres períodos estilísticos principales (Ashoka, Kushana y Gupta Brahmi), que comparten el mismo código. Por último, hay un parámetro para especificar el código ISCII de un carácter para las nueve escrituras heredadas de Unicode de ese estándar (Unicode unificado bengalí y asamés de ISCII).
