Yanling County, Hunan

Yanling County (simplified Chinese: 炎陵县; traditional Chinese: 炎陵縣; pinyin: Yánlíng Xiàn; lit. 'the place of Yan Emperor' s tomb') is a county in Hunan Province, China; it is under the administration of Zhuzhou City. Located on the south eastern margin of the province, the county is bordered to the north by Chaling County, to the west by Anren, Yongxing Counties and Zixing City, to the south by Guidong County, to the east by Suichuan County and Jinggangshan City of Jiangxi. Yanling County covers 2,030 km2 (780 sq mi), as of 2015, it had a registered population of 192,800 and resident a population of 202,200.[1] The county has 5 towns and 5 townships under its jurisdiction, the county seat is at Xiayang (霞阳镇).[2]
