Test match series

Los tests de rugby de fin de año de 2013 , también conocidos como internacionales de otoño de 2013 en el hemisferio norte, fueron una serie de partidos internacionales de rugby jugados predominantemente entre equipos europeos ( Inglaterra , Francia , Irlanda , Italia , Escocia y Gales ) y países visitantes del hemisferio sur ( Argentina , Australia , Fiji , Nueva Zelanda , Samoa , Sudáfrica y Tonga ).

En 2013, se llevaron a cabo un récord de 39 partidos de prueba, con un récord de 24 partidos que incluyeron un equipo de nivel 2 o nivel 3, seis de los cuales fueron encuentros de nivel 1 contra nivel 2, mientras la IRB se prepara para la Copa Mundial de Rugby 2015. ^[1 ]

Australia realizó su primera gira por las Home Nations desde 2009. Sin embargo, no pudo lograr su primer Grand Slam desde 1984 tras su derrota 20-13 ante Inglaterra en la semana inaugural de su gira. Además, Australia jugó contra Italia en Turín por primera vez. ^[2] Los campeones de la Copa del Mundo, Nueva Zelanda, jugaron contra Francia - por cuarta vez en 2013, Inglaterra e Irlanda.
